Have an event insurance related question? We have the answer! Check out our FAQs to learn more about Rainprotection Insurance:

  • How do I protect my event's revenue?

There are 2 ways that you, the event organizer, can lose revenue from your event. The first way is if the event is canceled. Event cancellation insurance will protect you against this. The second way you can lose money is if the event is not canceled, but you are getting cancellations and refund requests from your registrants. Our Inability to Attend Program, also known as registration refund insurance, will protect you against this. It can be used for your attendees and/or the exhibitors.

  • How do I make sure all my exhibitors/vendors are properly insured?

We can make sure that all your exhibitors and vendors have compliant liability event insurance by utilizing our ALL-IN Exhibitor Liability Insurance Program. It will guarantee 100% compliance from every exhibitor and eliminate all the work for you and your exhibitors. There is no cost to you, the event organizer.

  • How does event cancellation insurance protect my event?

Event Cancellation Insurance protects your event's revenue or expenses against cancellation, abandonment, curtailment, or postponement due to circumstances beyond your control. This event insurance provides protection for the loss of revenue and the commitment of expenses. Our program also pays for losses due to reduced attendance at a continued event — full cancellation of an event is not required.

  • How does rain insurance cover my event?

Rain insurance coverage protects any outdoor event from lost revenues due to the occurrence of rain. If it rains more than your chosen threshold, during the hours you choose, on a covered day, we pay you the dollar amount you insured. Always use the services of an experienced insurance company in order to attain the best coverage and pricing. Rainprotection has been the leading provider of rain insurance for over 15 years.

  • How does registration refund insurance protect my revenue?

When you utilize our Inability to Attend Insurance Program, we pay all refunds to any of your registrants that are unable to attend your event for a covered reason. You will never issue a refund again, essentially protecting your registration revenues. There is no cost to you, the event organizer, with this event insurance. We built this program along with Lloyd's of London based on client requests. Our clients requested a more fair and equitable way to handle cancellation and refund requests. Based on these requests, we designed the Inability to Attend Program so you will never issue a refund again! We pay all refunds to all registrants that are unable to attend your event for a covered reason, no matter when they cancel, even on the first day of your event.

  • How can I, an event organizer, make sure that my event is properly covered with insurance?

By engaging the services of Rainprotection Insurance, you can be confident your event is properly covered. Before we make any recommendations, we have comprehensive consultations with our clients and prospects to ensure we have a full and complete understanding of what is needed for their specific event. We then recommend the proper insurance solution(s) that will cover every aspect of your event.

Over the years, Rainprotection has built unique programs for the event industry based on client requests, which are simply not available anywhere else. We feel confident that no one else in the industry can offer as comprehensive suite of insurance products to cover your event.

  • How does the Inability to Attend Program benefit me and registrants?

This program is registration refund insurance. It will refund registrants 100% of their registration fees, no matter when they cancel, right up through the first day of the show. When someone registers for your event, they have every intention of attending. If something were to occur that prevented them from showing up, such as a death in the family, illness, accident, adverse weather, etc., they should receive a refund. Now they can, but from the insurance company, not you. This is a much fairer way to handle cancellations. There is no cost to you, the event organizer.

  • How do your Exhibitor and Vendor Liability Insurance Programs work?

One master policy is created for your tradeshow. It is pre-filled with all of your event's requirements, such as dates, additional insureds, etc. We then provide you with a link that you post in your exhibitor services kit. Anyone needing exhibitor insurance just clicks this link which directs them to an online application that we created explicitly for your event. After entering some company-specific information, they can then purchase their compliant insurance instantly online for just $84. Exhibitors located anywhere in the world can purchase through this program. This is all at no cost to the event organizer.

  • We rent out our venue to event organizers for their event. We require them to have complaint liability insurance naming us as additional insured on their policy. Can you make it easy and inexpensive for them to purchase their insurance?

Rainprotections TULIP Program (tenant user liability insurance policy) provides a simple solution for venues, municipalities, and/or facility owners. This program covers third-party liability for tenants holding events at your venue. The coverage provides them with the proper insurance based on your requirements should an incident occur that is caused by the event organizer's negligence. Slip and fall incidents, property damage, and liquor-related incidents are just a few of the potential risks associated with holding events. A Master Policy is created for your venue, through which any "tenant" that needs insurance for an event at your location can purchase it instantly online using a credit card. Event insurance has never been so simple!
